This wedding is incredibly close to my heart. Since Drew and Meghan’s engagement session, there has not been a week or even a few days that have gone by that Meghan and I have not chatted via text. Meghan is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She is incredibly sentimental and grateful for every single thing in her life. It is really inspiring to see the way she cherishes everything around her. I think she reached out to me after every single wedding I posted this year, with nothing but words of encouragement. If I ever felt down, it was as if she knew it and messaged me the exact words I needed to hear. This girl, is truly special and I am so incredibly honored to have been a part of the most special day of her life yet. Even more so, to call her a friend.
And Drew, well he is her match. They are absolutely adorable together and are so incredibly in love. It is truly something special to watch them together. They are one of those couples you know will become even more in love as they grow old.
And I cannot say enough about Drew and Meghan’s wonderful family. Every single person was so kind and warm. I felt as if I had known everyone for years. The love this family felt for Meghan and Drew was unmistakable. And this wedding, well it’s one for the history books. Here are just a few of the narrowed down images from this special day.
Drew and Meghan decided to see each other before the ceremony. I love when couples do this because I get to capture incredible moments like below:My personal favorite!Meghan, you are beautiful. Inside and out!The ceremony was in Meghan’s parents backyard. The front pew is a wedding gift for the couple. Everything in this wedding had a personal touch and meaning, which made it extra special. This bicycle was surprise! After the ceremony was over, all of the wedding guests chose handmade banners and paraded their way to the reception!Meghan, you are so stinking adorable! The Funky Shack blew me away with the reception decor at the Train Depot.Drew is a firefighter. So of course, firetrucks that the couple collected was incorporated throughout the decor.
Congratulations Drew and Meghan!! Check out their engagement session here!
